Help and Information


1. How do I place an order?
Buy securely and easily online via SagePay or call us on 0800-206-2303 (free from UK landlines) or on 01743-742028 providing your payment card details and delivery address. Payment may also be made by cheque or electronic transfer between bank accounts.

 

2. When will my credit card be debited?
Your order is processed by GaragePride as soon as we receive it. If payment is made online or payment details are provided over the telephone then your card will be debited immediately as we have to commit to production with the manufacturers.

 

3. I am purchasing on behalf of a business, will I receive a VAT invoice?
A VAT invoice will be sent to you by e-mail or post within 48 hours of you placing the order.

 

4. Are there any hidden charges?
Our aim is to provide you with clear and honest product and pricing information. Prices are shown both inclusive and exclusive of VAT. Most cabinets and workbenches are delivered free. There is a delivery charge for some smaller items and this is shown on the product detail pages.

 

5. Can I specify my preferred delivery date?
We like to talk to our customers so please feel free to telephone to discuss your specific delivery requirements and we will endeavour to accommodate them.

1. Is your site secure?
With our online security guarantee you can be sure that you never have to worry about credit or debit card security when using our web site. Card transactions are carried out by LloydsTSB Cardnet and approved partners SagePay.

SagePay use the latest security technology and guarantees that any personal information you enter via our web site is 100% safe. 

 

2. I’m not sure about buying high value online. What should I do?
You can of course place your order by telephone on 01743 742028 using a debit or credit card or send us a cheque to the value of the order.

 

3. How safe is it to give my credit card details online?
Very safe. It is a 100% secure process. All our on-line payments are taken by Lloyds TSB Cardnet which is one of the biggest banks in the UK and have the most secure environment. When you buy online we never see your card details and the process forms one of the most secure ways you can transact online with your credit card.

We comply with then Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) ensruing your transaction is safe and secure whether carried out online or over the telephone.

 

Delivery Questions


1. What is GaragePride’s delivery policy?
All metal cabinets and workbenches are despatched normally within 15 working days of the receipt of payment. However delivery may take up to 28 days in certain circumstances. Products in the "Garage Workbench System" range are despatched in 21 working days from receipt of payment. Any orders made after 12.00 PM will be treated as the following working day. Weekends and Bank holidays are not counted as working days. If for some reason we are unable to achieve this aim then we will let you know.

Plastic cabinets and plastic floor tiles are normally held in stock and will be delivered in 2-5 days from receipt of payment.

We endeavour to despatch hooks, racks and baskets within 2-3 days of the receipt of your online or telephone order using a Next Day courier service.

 

2. How much does delivery cost?
Cabinets and workbenches are delivered fully manufactured strapped and wrapped securely to a pallet. Packing and delivery to the UK mainland is free. The delivery cost for floor tiles, hooks and racks vary but the price of this is no more than the price that we incur from Royal Mail or a courier. Accessories ordered separately will carry their own delivery charges, some larger accessory products may be shipped direct from the manufacturer.

 

3. What if I’m out when you deliver my products?
For all metal cabinets, workbenches and floor tiles we require a signature from somebody at the point of delivery who can also advise the delivery driver where best to leave the palletised product. If you are a residential customer you will be contacted in advance of delivery to make sure that somebody will be in the receive them. Plastic cabinet and smaller items are sent by courier or Royal Mail who will leave a calling card if nobody is in.

 

4. Are your cabinets delivered flat packed?
No, all metal cabinets are of welded construction and delivered fully assembled. Workbenches are available either as a kit or fully assembled and this is explained on the product pages.

 

5. Can the delivery company confirm a time they will be delivering?
For cabinets and workbenches, the delivery company will call you before delivery and may be able to provide an approximate arrival time.  

 

6. What if my delivery contains damaged goods?
This happens very occasionally. However please do inspect the external wrapping for penetration damage before signing the delivery paperwork. If it is obvious that damage to the product has occured then please reject the delivery and let us know as soon as possible by telephone or email. If damage is only evident after unwrapping the products then also please let us know as soon as possible. We may offer an exchange or refund as appropriate in accordance with your legal rights.

 

7. Delivery access may be difficult, what do you need to know?
If you think it may be difficult to move a palleted cabinet from a lorry tail lift to the cabinet's location using a manual pallet truck then please let us know and we can then make the driver aware of the potential difficulty.

 

Returns Questions


1. What happens if my product is faulty?
We believe that you will be delighted with GaragePride products. However, in the event of you being dissatisfied with the quality of the product you must contact GaragePride within 48 hours of delivery in writing. We will arrange to refund or replace the product. 1. How will you use my personal details?
GaragePride has a strict policy of keeping all customer information entirely confidential. We will never pass your details on to a third party.

 

2. What is your warranty policy?
GaragePride cabinets and workbenches come with a 12 months warranty which runs from the date of delivery. Your statutory rights are not affected.
